The best hainanese chicken rice we've ever had hands down. What surprised us more and was unexpectedly good was the beef brisket or tendon curry. Perfect that they have a combo that comes with both for 20. Super filling and delicious. We're from Toronto and were only briefly exploring Vancouver. Yet we came back here twice and just had to eat it again before we went back to Toronto. Definitely a hidden gem in a food court. The only problem is that it's an older looking food court so the atmosphere isn't the greatest. Other than that nothing to complain about at all.

I have been coming here for a long time back when the original owner's son and wife were working at this location. This place is as good as it gets. Their Hainanese chicken and curry items are always delicious and highly recommended. This time I just had their House Special Laksa with vermicelli as it has a bit of everything (e.g. tofu, fish cake, egg, sambal, Hainanese chicken, veggies, etc). Soup had great umami and with the sambal gives a nice kick to the already great laksa. Also my brother ordered their Hainanese chicken cake that he saw on an Instagram post and wanted to get it for our mom's bday. You need to preorder (3 days in advance I think) and when we opened it up, it was presented well and it tasted great (ignore the other cake in the pic but it was yummy too... lol). Will be coming back here in the near future.

This long standing institution in the T&T foodcourt is consistently delicious! I ordered lunch, the beef brisket curry and rice (C1) for 16.99 and added a daily soup for an additional 1.50 - they're generous with their portion of rice and even though it may appear small, the beef curry (a mix of fatty and meaty pieces of beef) is more than enough to satisfy! YLs curries are super flavorful and not too spicy. Sidenote, the foodcourt seating has recently been upgraded, so it feels roomy and clean!

Wow! Blown away level impressed! You have to try their Hainanese Chicken Cake. It came beautifully packaged like a present with ribbons of love! It was so detailed and had rooster shaped carrots and so many layers of veggies. The Hainanese chicken and rice were absolutely delicious. It was a hit at our anniversary party and we would totally get it again for another occasion! The wow factor is totally there in this unique cake.

I pre-ordered the Hainanese chicken rice cake for my mom’s birthday, and everyone was blown away— including the entire food court, as I walked out with this beautifully presented cake. The owner put so much love and attention into crafting it, from the clear box and birthday ribbon to the gorgeous birthday sign, the plate, and the handwritten card for my mom. The rice and chicken were carefully layered, and the carved vegetables (including chicken-shaped carrots!) were such a lovely touch. The cake was also DELICIOUS! My mom, who grew up in Malaysia, absolutely loved it. It’s so hard to find good Hainanese chicken rice here. The pickles and sauces were amazing too!

Really Good Malaysian Street Food at YL Curry Bowl in Surrey at the T&T Food Court. Had the Laksa, Hainanese Chicken & Rice, Curry Beef Brisket, Curry Fish Balls, & Roti Canai. The food is so delicious here! Highly Recommended @ylscurrybowl @thefoodiecarguy

First time coming to try and that's out of expectation !! Savored the rich and hearty laksa broth, tender Hainanese chicken, and flavor-packed curry beef brisket. Even the complimentary soup was a taste sensation without MSG. Definitely recommend and come back to try again!!

The food is absolutely delicious! The meat is so tender and everything was packed with flavor including the rice. We tried the combo with the lamb curry and the Hainanese chicken, it comes with two chili dipping sauces which adds an extra touch of flavor to the dish.
